Amaroq Ltd. said it granted a total of 2,254,467 restricted share units (RSUs) to certain directors and employees on 10 April 2026 under its Restricted Share Unit (RSU) Plan. The awards give holders the right to receive common shares in the company if applicable time and performance targets are met.
The RSUs are governed by the company’s RSU Plan. The performance period runs from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028, with the Measurement Date set for 31 December 2028. The award to the Chief Executive Officer is subject to a two-year post-vesting holding period.
Amaroq also reported that, following an earlier release dated 31 March 2025 regarding an RSU award to Edward Westropp (Chief Corporate Development & Strategy Officer), a total of 20,927 RSUs have vested. After the sale of a portion of shares to cover applicable tax obligations arising on vesting, Westropp’s holding amounts to 13,114 shares.
The company disclosed dealing information for Westropp, including transactions dated 10 April 2026 and 8 April 2026.
Amaroq said it will apply for admission of the RSU shares to trading on AIM. The company expects admission to become effective and dealings in the RSU shares to commence at 8:00 a.m. on 14 April 2026.
Following admission, Amaroq expects its total issued share capital to consist of 465,462,030 common shares of no par value, each with voting rights. The company noted it does not hold any common shares in treasury, and that this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for notifications relating to interests in, or changes in, the company’s share capital.
Amaroq’s principal business objectives include the identification, acquisition, exploration, and development of gold and strategic metal properties in South Greenland. The company’s principal asset is a 100% interest in the Nalunaq Gold mine, along with a portfolio of gold and strategic metal assets in Southern Greenland and advanced exploration projects at Stendalen and the Sava Copper Belt.
The company stated that the announcement does not contain inside information.
