HOSE (Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange) reported market data for March 2026. As of the close of trading on 31 March 2026, the VNIndex stood at 1,674.49 points, the VNAllshare at 1,748.35 points, and the VN30 at 1,829.59 points. In March, all three main indices declined by 10.95%, 9.24%, and 11.26%, respectively.
All sector indices on HOSE recorded losses in March 2026. Notable declines included Information Technology (VNIT) down 19.04%, Real Estate (VNREAL) down 14.51%, and Energy (VNENE) down 14.21%.
Market liquidity improved for stocks compared with February 2026, while warrants with embedded options saw weaker trading value.
Foreign investors’ total trading value in March 2026 exceeded 175,566 billion dong, accounting for 13.13% of total market trading. In the month, foreign investors were net sellers with a value of more than 15,580 billion dong.
As of 31 March 2026, HOSE had 707 listed and traded securities, including 403 stocks, 04 closed-end funds, 18 ETF codes, and 282 warrants, for a total of over 214.97 billion listed securities.
The market capitalization of HOSE-listed stocks reached over 7.87 quadrillion dong, down 10.83% month-on-month. It was equivalent to 61.28% of Vietnam’s 2025 GDP and represented more than 94.63% of total market capitalization for listed stocks.
