Meta Vietnam uses AI systems to scan, detect and even delete AI-generated content that violates policies before it reaches users. In addition, content created or edited by AI that imitates a real person or reconstructs actual events must be clearly labeled to distinguish it from real content. For high-quality AI content, Meta even adds labels such as 'Imagined with AI' to enhance visibility. At a press briefing on April 7, regarding compliance with the AI Law, Meta Vietnam's country director Khoi Le said they are implementing a three-layer control system. The first layer is policy: AI-generated content must be governed by the 'Community Standards' previously developed to manage content posted by users. Any AI-generated content that violates the rules, such as violence, will be removed immediately. The second layer is enforcement: Meta applies three parallel measures—remove, reduce, and inform. For AI-generated content that violates the platform policies, the system deletes it. For AI content that does not violate, the platform reduces reach so it appears less to users. The third layer is information transparency: Meta uses global AI signals and recognition standards to identify AI-generated content and then labels it with 'AI info' on formats like video, image, or audio. If users actively report content, the process is even smoother; otherwise, the system can automatically detect and label. For high-quality AI content, Meta even adds labels such as 'Imagined with AI' to improve visibility. 'Meta currently applies AI to control AI. The AI systems are used to scan, detect, and even delete violations early, before they reach users. These mechanisms are now deployed in the Vietnamese market,' Le said. Also at the press briefing, amid questions about large-scale staff restructuring with possible cuts of tens of thousands of workers to reallocate resources to AI and other focus areas, Le shared these issues. He noted that reviewing and adjusting staff is a routine activity for any company to align with short-term business goals and long-term strategy; Meta is not exempt. 'Tuy nhiên, riêng tại thị trường Việt Nam, Meta hiện chưa có bất kỳ thay đổi nào về bộ máy nhân sự,' ông nói với VnEconomy.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise.
