Bac Ninh province, together with the investor, has announced an incentive policy to accelerate land clearance for the Gia Bình International Airport project to serve the APEC 2027 Summit. The policy offers a reward of 200 million VND per household for handing over land before April 11, and 150 million VND per household for handover from April 11 to April 30. The policy applies to residential land and is calculated per household or individual within the area designated for constructing components serving the APEC 2027 Summit. If a household has multiple parcels within the construction area, the reward is paid only once for the entire area. Payment of the reward for early land handover does not affect rights to compensation or support for land and assets after the plan is approved. By April 6, 169 households had registered to hand over land before April 11. On April 4, the Gia Bình commune, in cooperation with investor Masterise Airport Infrastructure Joint Stock Company, distributed the early-handover rewards to households. Forty households on the list registered on March 31 or April 1 agreed to hand over residential land for the project. Each household received 150 million VND from the investor, while 50 million VND from Bac Ninh Province is expected to be received together with compensation for land and assets. A construction-site image shows the dismantling of houses belonging to households that had agreed to hand over land early for the project. According to local party leadership, to build the APEC 2027 service components for the Gia Bình Airport project, Gia Bình commune has more than 1,300 households that must hand over land by April 30.
